This vintage sterling silver ring is a striking example of Southwest design in the style of Navajo or Fred Harvey era work. The centerpiece is a raw turquoise cabochon with deep natural matrix and a rugged surface that appears unstabilized. The oxidized patina on the silver adds to its vintage character and depth.
The scalloped fan design on the sides and coiled silverwork at the base of the stone are hallmark features of Fred Harvey era influence. Though unmarked, the ring has been acid tested as sterling silver. The stone is firmly set in a serrated bezel and displays beautiful natural variations of green and blue against dark inclusions.
Ring size is approximately US 6.5 and the piece weighs 4 grams. It is in excellent vintage condition with visible patina and no signs of damage or repair.
