Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Footed Ashtray Trinket Tray Fred Harvey Era 3.5in

This is a beautiful vintage Navajo sterling silver footed ashtray from the Fred Harvey era, dating from the mid 1900s. It is a handmade oval dish with traditional Diné stamping and two raised cigarette rests at the sides. The underside features three domed silver feet that allow the tray to sit elevated on a table or dresser.

Pieces like this were originally sold as small personal ashtrays through trading posts and railway gift shops. Today they are often repurposed as ring dishes, incense holders, or decorative Southwest accent pieces. The silver has a warm patina that shows its age and handmade nature.
