This is a vintage set of 6 bread and butter plates from Syracuse China’s Trend line. This Restaurant Ware pattern is called Berkeley. It features red flowers on green branches and resembles cherry blossoms. This was the pattern used by the Santa Fe Railroad and Fred Harvey Restaurants. The Bread & Butter Plates measure approximately 5 1/8 inches. Plates are in good vintage pre-owned condition. They do show signs of wear consistent with age and use. There they worn in the center and have utensil marks. One of the plates is crazed with a nick to the underside ring. Please see last two photos for close up views of this plate.
