Beautiful set of Syracuse restaurant ware square cups and saucers in the Berkley Cherry Blossom pattern. In excellent condition-no chips, cracks, fading-appear to be unused. According to Ruby Lane, during the Fred Harvey Era, these heavily weighted cups and saucers were used at Fred Harvey restaurants along the railroad lines as well as Yale University’s Berkley College dining hall. This unique pattern is square with rounded corners. Each of the 4 cups measure 2 1/8 in.tall, 4 1/2 in. across rim to handle and stand on a 2 in. base. The saucers measure 5 in. across.
