Old Fred Harvey Double Thunderbird Sterling Silver Turquoise Cuff Bracelet 1950s
Stamped symbols and ornate details flank a pretty turquoise stone on this vintage old Fred Harvey sterling silver Navajo cuff. The large turquoise stone has varying blue saturation with light blue to brown matrix. Swirls of twisted silver rope trim, and raised dots frame the stone. Deeply stamped large symbols flow around the cuff. The first symbol look similar to the rattlesnake jaw (symbol of strength). It is followed by thunderbirds (the sacred bearer of happiness unlimited), an arrow (protection) and lightning snakes. The images referenced were according to an old Fred Harvey chart. The cuff tested as sterling silver (no hallmarks). I wear a 7.25-7.75” bracelets and it fits me perfectly with a little give!
