Item Description from Seller
Authentic vintage Fred Harvey era bolo tie featuring a hand-worked silver slide in the form of a Diné (Navajo) baby cradleboard (papoose board) motif. The sculptural silver case is domed and dimensional, wrapped with applied silver bands and twisted wire detailing, and set with a natural turquoise cabochon at the top.
The bolo is mounted on its original braided leather cord, finished with matching silver tips. Construction, materials, and design are consistent with early to mid-20th-century Southwest tourist and trading-post jewelry associated with the Fred Harvey era.
