This is a Signed BJR Old Fred Harvey Era Navajo Pendant 2 Buffalo Nickels Turquoise Spiny Oyster 2”. The back is stamped BJR for the Navajo artist. This very unique handmade Navajo necklace pendant features 2 Buffalo nickels (or Indian Head nickels) as the base with bezel set turquoise and spiny oyster stones. Buffalo nickels are a copper-nickel alloy consisting of 75% copper and 25% nickel. Additionally there is sterling silver decorated raindrops, bezels and the bail that are sterling silver.
