VTG Silver Turquoise Cluster Bracelet Fred Harvey Style Native American c1940s
Here’s an absolutely stunning (very) vintage heavy gauge silver bracelet with green and blue turquoise stones. The three rails are carinated and hand stamped. The mostly square stones are set in a diamond cluster pattern with stamped silver dot spacers. A row of three small square stones flank the central cluster. A scrolled silver wire separates the cluster and each of the rows. Please see condition description.
The rails taper from a width of 1 1/16″ to 5/8″ at the terminals. With the turquoise cluster, the face of the bracelet is 1 5/16″ wide.
The central polychrome turquoise stone is about 1/2″ by 9/16″.
The smaller stones vary slightly in size and shape, but in general are about 3/16″ square.
The inner circumference is 5 1/2″ with an additional wrist gap of 1″. It will fit up to a 6 1/2″ wrist.
It weighs a substantial 54.5 g.
Please measure your wrist twice and know your size BEFORE purchasing this bracelet. Because of its thickness and gauge, the force it would take to alter its size would likely crack or break the bracelet (unless altered by a professional).
This piece was sourced from a private collection in Phoenix, AZ. The former owner indicated that this piece (among other pieces) was purchased in the 1940s from Native American artisans.
