These two menus are Luncheon and Dinner menus dated May 13, 1947 from the Bright Angel Lodge Fred Harvey restaurant in the Grand Canyon National Park Arizona.
The cover art features two works from their eminent artist series- “The Barker at Harvey’s” by Margo Hoff and “Ah, God-Herring, Buoys, The Glittering Sea” by Ivan Le Lorraine Albright.
The menus are in good condition for their age. The dinner menu has small stains on the back (see photo) but most notably, both have pinholes where they were pinned up and displayed.
These collectable menus offer a rare glimpse into dining options offered by Fred Harvey’s restaurant at Grand Canyon National Park on one day in 1947.
